So it's pretty convenient nowadays. A lot of these late model trucks are coming right outta the factory with these prep packages and it makes using or towing a gooseneck trailer or even a 5th wheel trailer for that matter, extremely easy because more or less you just take your hitch, drop it in the bed of your truck, lock it down and you're good to go. This kit, what the difference is compared to some of the other ones is it's going to have an offset ball, meaning the ball is going to sit towards the back of the truck an additional 5 inches. more

B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch 4" Offset Ball Review - 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video

B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch 4

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Offset Ball for your B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitches, and we're gonna be seeing it and how it fits on our 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty. This does exactly what it says it's gonna do. It replaces the existing turnover ball that came with that gooseneck hitch and puts the new one in, drops in the same slot with the same square base, but just offsets the ball by four inches towards the rear. If you've got something in your truck bed like a toolbox that's maybe going to just limit your clearance and you need some extra, this is a good way to do it. more

Curt 1-7/8 inch Hitch Ball Installation - 2023 Ford F-150- Video

Curt 1-7/8 inch Hitch Ball Installation - 2023 Ford F-150

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the CURT 1-7/8 Trailer Hitch Ball with an extra long shank on a 2023 Ford F-150. Now from the factory, not all F-150's come with a trailer hitch and if that's the case, you do have an option to mount up a ball on the bumper and be able to bumper tow, so that way you don't have to get a hitch or a ball mount. You can simply run it through the hole that's already there torque this down and then you'll have your ball ready to hook up to your trailer. Now what separates this ball from a lot of other balls on the market is gonna be the extra long shank and this is gonna be a 3 inch. So from the bottom of the ball platform to the bottom of the shank, this one is 3 inches, which works out really well for mounting this up on our bumper. It's gonna work with ball mounts or bumper platforms that are gonna be 1 inch to 2 inches thick and that's still gonna give us that nice secure mounting up, whereas another ball mount, the shank will be too short to be able to crank that down. more

Today we have a 2022 Ford F350 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you some of the features on the Gen-Y gooseneck hitch for Ford OEM puck systems. This gooseneck hitch is gonna allow you to be able to pull gooseneck trailers, or if you have a gooseneck conversion on your fifth wheel it'll allow you to pull those two. The biggest difference in this, and then say maybe the either the Reese kit, the CURT kit, or the B&W gooseneck kit that is also designed to fit the Ford OEM puck system. This is going to have a five inch offset so our original puck is right here in the center of our four pucks. This is going to kick it back five inches. more

B and W Four Inch Offset Gooseneck Hitch Ball Review - 2021 Ram 2500- Video

B and W Four Inch Offset Gooseneck Hitch Ball Review - 2021 Ram 2500

Hey everybody, Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the B&W 4-inch offset gooseneck ball for our B&W turnover ball on our 2021 Ram 2500. So, what sets this ball apart is it actually pushes the center of our ball 4 inches back from the center of our shank. If you take a look comparing that to our ball that comes with our kit, it is straight up and down. And the reason that you'd want an offset hitch is if you have a short bed truck, like we do here. Now, normally a gooseneck trailer, isn't going to come in contact with your cab, but in this case our customer is going to be using it to tow a camper. more

B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Offset Ball Installation - 2014 Toyota Tundra- Video

B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Offset Ball Installation - 2014 Toyota Tundra

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Toyota Tundra we're going to be taking a look at the four inch offset ball for B&W turnover gooseneck trailer hitch, part number BWGNXA4585. This is what our offset ball looks like, it's going to be 2-5/16, and it's going to replace the ball that comes with the hitch kit. Now what this is going to do, it's going to provide you with more clearance between your cab and your trailer. You're simply going to drop into place, and it's going to move your pivot point point back four inches. So with the ball that comes with the kit, it's going to give you 7,500 pound vertical load limit, and a 30,000 pound gross towing capacity. When you switch to this offset ball, this is going to drop your total weight capacity, or towing capacity, to 20,000 pounds and your vertical load limit to 5,000 pounds. So keep that in mind. You always want to check your owners' manual, though, to make sure your vehicle can withstand the amount of weight and pick the lowest number between the two. This is going to have a nice powder coat finish to resist any corrosion, you can see it's nice thick steel so we're not going to have to worry about it bending or breaking. more

Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set Review - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we are going to be installing the convert a ball interchangeable ball set part number 904B. Now in order to install this convert a ball system on this particular ball mount, we are going to need to use a hitch ball bushing that goes from an inch and a quarter opening down to a one inch. As our ball mount has an inch and a quarter opening on it and a shank on our convert a ball is only a one inch. We'll be using the hitch ball bushing inch and a quarter to one inch part number F-2. We'll begin by first sliding our bushing over the shank of our ball. With that into position, we can slide it to the hole on the ball mount, put that into position like that, we'll slide our lock washer on followed by our hex nut. We'll then and go ahead and take our impact gun and tighten down the nut. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be installing the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set, part # 900B. Now In order to install this Convert-A-Ball system on this particular ball mount, we're going to need to use a Hitch Ball Bushing that goes from an 1 1/4 inch opening down to a 1 inch because our ball mount has a 1 1/4 inch opening on it, and the shank on our Convert-A-Ball is only a 1 inch, so we'll be using the Hitch Ball Bushing 1 1/4 inch to 1 inch, part # F-2. We'll begin by first sliding our bushing over the shank of our ball. With that into position, we can slide it through the hole in a ball mount. With that into position like that, we'll slide our lock washer on, followed by our hex nut. We'll then go ahead and take our impact gun and tighten down the nut.
